Clinical Psychologist 

Dr Brad Mertens enjoys working with adults, adolescents and children, as well as parents and carers when required. Brad’s therapeutic focus is on pain psychology, gender care, anxiety and depression, phobias (including fear of social situations), depression, bipolar disorder, and coping with loss. 

Brad has previously worked at the Royal Hobart Hospital, the University of Tasmania, and in multidisciplinary pain clinics. He is currently a member of Insight Pain Clinic. Brad utilises a combination of ACT and traditional CBT to assist clients towards their goals and to re-engage with their lives and relationships in meaningful ways.​
