Sophie (she/her) is a registered psychologist with a Bachelor of Behavioural Science and Master of Psychology (Clinical) from the University of Tasmania.
Sophie is passionate about providing a safe and collaborative space for her clients to develop strategies that address their therapeutic goals. With a warm and compassionate approach, Sophie works predominately with adults and older adults. She has experience assisting clients with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, stress management and grief. Sophie uses a range of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Compassion-Focused Therapy to meet the needs of each individual client. In her free time, Sophie is outside on a hike or snorkelling in the ocean.
