Dr Caroline Schwerkolt BA(Psych)Hons DPsych(Health) MAAPi MAPS FCCLP FCHP
Dr Caroline Schwerkolt is a Clinical and Health Psychologist and director of the practice. Caroline helps people manage the psychological impact of chronic and acute health conditions. She has a particular interest in helping manage the impact of the cancer experience on patients and family members. Caroline also helps people with managing changes in their life (such as recovering from injury, menopause, altered sleep etc.). Caroline is skilled across an array of modalities, including CBT, ACT, and Existential approaches, and tailors her approach to suit her clients.
Caroline is a Fellow of both the Australian Psychological Society (APS) Clinical College, and the APS Health College. She is a former lecturer at UTAS, past Chair of the College of Health Psychologists (Tasmanian Branch), and founding Mental Health Professionals Network facilitator (Southern Tasmanian Branch). Caroline has presented her research in National conferences, and is published in peer-reviewed papers.
Away from work, Caroline enjoys keeping active with her dog, playing music, sewing, and completing jigsaws.
