Provisional Psychologist Victoria Watts (she/her) is passionate about working with a broad range of clients, especially children and adolescents. Victoria has a warm and light-hearted therapeutic style and aims to create a safe and neuro-affirming environment for all. Vic adapts a range of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to meet each client’s needs. Outside of work, Victoria enjoys spending her time keeping active and reading. Victoria is a Provisional Psychologist, and has ongoing supervision with senior psychologist, Dr Caroline Schwerkolt. When not working one-on-one with clients, Victoria works on therapy planning and continuing professional development, to ensure therapy is evidence-based, tailored to needs and high-quality. A Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) is not required to see Victoria, and the low "out of pocket" fee means sessions are affordable and not limited by Medicare constraints (such as maximum number of sessions, or reasons for seeking therapy). |
