Professor Mark Andersen BA(Psych) MSc(Psych) PhD(Psych)
Professor Mark Andersen is a Clinical Psychologist who is registered to work in both Australia and the USA, from where he immigrated in 1994. Mark works from a variety of therapeutic models including CBT, Mindfulness-based treatments, and Neuropsychotherapy. For clients who wish to explore their lives and how they got to where they are, Mark can also utilise a relatively long-term psychodynamic psychotherapy approach. Mark has worked extensively in health, rehabilitation, exercise and sport settings helping people work through anxiety, depression, eating disorders and existential issues associated with transitions in life.
Mark has been an academic researcher and University lecturer for over 30 years. He has written/edited seven books, published over 170 journal articles and book chapters and has been an invited keynote speaker at 17 conferences on four continents. He is also a registered supervisor of psychologists and can speak fluent Swedish.
