Hannah Lintvelt McHardy BPsych(Hons) MPsych(Clin)
Hannah (she/her) is a Clinical Psychologist Registrar with a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) from Macquarie University and a Master of Clinical Psychology at the University of Tasmania. Hannah enjoys working with clients across the lifespan, including children (10+), adolescents, and adults. With a warm and empathetic approach, Hannah seeks to create a safe and collaborative environment to support her clients in achieving their therapeutic goals. Hannah adopts a practical approach to therapy, and focuses on equipping clients with relevant techniques to practice outside of sessions.
Hannah has experience assisting clients presenting with mood disorders (such as depression and anxiety), self-esteem issues, chronic pain, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and emotion regulation difficulties. She has a special interest in supporting clients from the LGBTQIA+ community. Hannah utilises a range of evidence-based modalities within her practice including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy.
When she is not working Hannah enjoys bushwalking, cooking, and engaging in creative pursuits.
